Life with Patterns
The Patterns We Live With
A pattern is rarely the first thing someone notices in a room.
They notice how the space feels.
A favorite chair by the window. A quilt folded across the end of the bed. Pillows gathered on a sofa where family and friends spend time together.
But look a little closer, and you'll often find that pattern is what ties the story together.

The fabrics we choose become part of our everyday lives. They soften a room, reflect our personality, and help create a sense of comfort and belonging. A simple floral can remind us of a grandmother's garden. A geometric print can bring warmth and structure to a modern space. Nature-inspired patterns can make us feel connected to places we love.
As a surface pattern designer, that's what inspires me most.
I'm not just designing repeats and color palettes. I'm creating artwork that becomes part of someone's home, their favorite quilt, or a project made by hand and given with love.
The best patterns aren't just seen.
They're lived with.
And over time, they become part of the memories made around them.
